Paragon

Paragon is a dome-encased biosphere that has seen seven generations since the calamity which almost wiped out humanity. What started as a selection of a few hundred doctors and scientists with the foresight to escape the end of the world, has turned into a city governed by strict rule and even stricter methods of enforcing them.

Now the moral foundations upon which it was built are starting to falter as the head of the high command uncovers the lies and hypocrisy of the leaders before him. And who is tapping into the computer systems looking for a way out, more importantly, why?

When a savage starts banging on the walls of Paragon from the outside everything the residents have been led to believe is questioned. In a place where subversion is punishable by death, there is no room for doubt. When four citizens start looking for their own truths, it is only a matter of time before they find each other, but time becomes their enemy as their lives go on the line.

The New Breed

Ant knew he was different, but just how different he could never have guessed. When his mother had signed on to the “New Breed” program, she had thought she was getting the seed f a man more successful than her alcoholic husband. What she got instead was a whole new race of human being, a better race.

To uncover the truth, Ant must drop out of the world he has grown up in and watch from the shadows. But his foreign biology begins to work against him, with an untimely death being one of the unfortunate side-effects of the study.

Can Ant unlock the secret not only to who he is but also how he can survive before it is too late?

2012

Vasily was only seven when he witnessed the holy mother hand down her ten prophecies warning of the end of the world. Twenty years later he is afraid that he will be there to see them come true.

Having already had one near-fatal clash in his youth when he dared to reveal the truth, Vasily is trying to work out how to pass the message on before it is too late.

As December 2012 draws ever closer, Vasily must find a new way to get through to the masses. But with the Catholic church and the clandestine world government hot on his trail, it won’t be easy. Before he can let himself worry about that he still needs to unravel the real meanings of the Virgin’s words and uncover the signs that will prove him right.

Paragon is finished and comes in at around 80,000 words. It is a YA novel, but with all the action, romance and a little bit of sci-fi it can be enjoyed by readers of all ages.

The New Breed came to me while listening to a British boy-band pop song, which has nothing to do with the band or the song.

2012 is now finished and I have just begun the first edit. So if you are a publisher interested in this one, please feel free to contact me!

Obsidian is my parody of the fantasy novel. It has everything that a good fantasy novel must have -except a publisher!
